GDSBox Current Measurement
The GDSBox Summary
The GDSBox incorporates two precision current to
voltage converters to measure the gate current Ig
and drain current Id of a transistor. The gate voltage
is supplied from an external source. The drain voltage
is supplied by a built in programmable voltage source.
The GDSBox has four BNC connections: gate drive, drain
voltage monitor, Vg(Ig), and Vd(Id). Three banana plug
connections are for the 'gate', 'drain', and 'source' of
the transistor being tested.
The GDSBox gets its power and is configured through a
standard USB connection to a controlling computer.
